Emanuela Battigelli was born in Gemona del Friuli (Italy) on the 30th of June 1980.
After studying with Patrizia Tassini and graduating (2001) with first honours at the “J. Tomadini” Conservatory in Udine (Italy), she moved to Israel where she obtained an Artist Diploma from Tel Aviv University (2003) under the patronage of Ruth Maayani.
She has received recognition and prizes from different national and international competitions and she won the prestigeous scolarship from The America Israel Cultural Foundation.

Since year 1996 she has an intense international concert activity as soloist and chamber musician: UBS Verbier Festival, Israel Chamber Orchestra, The A. And V. Carter Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra L. Malipiero, Festival di Chiusdino, Festival di Arte Contemporanea Stazione di Topolò, Maedchenkantorei Limburg, Yad Vashem, Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione, Abbazia di Klosterneuburg (Wien-Austria), Lions Club, Rotary Club, Castello di Strassoldo, Itineraria, Palazzo Chigi Saracini, Italian Embassy in Israel, The Clairmont Hall (Tel Aviv) and others.
From 2001 to 2004 she participated in the Tel Aviv Workshop of Contemporary Music and in the Biennale for Contemporary Music in Jerusalem, performing among others several compositions written for her by Leon Schidlowsky.
She has also participated as a soloist and a chamber musician in audio and video broadcasts for Telecapodistria, RAI and for the Israeli radio and television.

  • Tour with the UBS Verbier Festival Orchestra (soloist B. Terfel, Dir. C. P.Flor), where she performed in the most important concert halls of Asia and Australia (Sydney Opera House, The Forbidden City Concert Hall, Tokyo Opera House etc.).
